How to copy and paste between your phone and computer
- Paste your text into Send text and choose Create transfer.
- Open this page on the other device and enter the code under Receive text. On a phone, you can scan the QR code instead.
- Choose Retrieve text, then Copy text. Paste it wherever you need it.
Use this online clipboard to move a long web address, a shopping list, an address, or a code snippet without emailing yourself. Both devices need an internet connection; they do not need to be on the same Wi-Fi network.
How long is my text available?
Your code works for 10 minutes. Keep the sending tab open to use Delete now if you want to remove the transfer sooner. Copy received text before the countdown ends. Deleting a transfer cannot erase copies already saved on another device.
What can I send?
Send up to 100 KB of plain text, including links, notes, and snippets. Images and files are not supported. Anyone with your code or link can read the text, so avoid passwords and sensitive information.
Why is my code not working?
Check all 10 characters; spaces and the dash are optional. If the transfer has expired or been deleted, ask the sender to create a new one. If you see a wait message, let the countdown finish before trying again.
